Recourse Records was a promotion company founded by Dan Orrico in 2003. At first, Orrico wanted the company to be a pseudo record label with a strict DIY ethic. This idea was entertained with the help of co-founder Rob Schlegel. Eventually in 2006 the company was focused more on putting on shows (not records) for local New Jersey bands. The company eventually disbanded in 2008 due to lack of finance stability.
